Michelle Snow
Michelle Snow been a freelance journalist and photographer for over twenty years, specializing in travel and entertainment.
She got her start writing for her high school newspaper and progressed to writing for fanzines and regional music papers. In the late 80s, she started her own regional music publication in Milwaukee, WI, where she interviewed everyone from local bands to national acts like Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Duran Duran. As she traveled, covering bands on the road, she began writing about travel itself. It was a perfect marriage.
Over the years, her work has appeared in regional publications, daily newspapers and national magazines, as well as many online magazines and blogs.
In addition to writing about a variety of subjects for Suite 101, she is currently a contributor to the Uptake Lodging and Uptake Nightlife blogs, as well a Vegas and Orlando (CitySurfing Orlando) specialist for several other websites and blogs. She has also written two guidebooks (the Irreverent Guide to WDW, 5th edition and 2005 WDW/Orlando for Dummies) and co-authored two more (DK Eyewitness Guide to Florida 2006 and DK Top 10 Orlando 2008).
In her spare time, she does web design, usually as subcontract work for other designers, but she always welcome new clients. You can view her portfolio at MrShMedia.com.
When not working, she loves to travel, watch movies & tv, listen to music -- who doesn't, right? :) She's also a proud Browncoat.
